So, I'm currently about to finish crime and punishment (on last part, (part 6)), of the book, and I genuinely found it very engrossing and really good read, I'm planning to buy and read more of dostoevsky's work.
Though usually I'm a non fiction reader but I tried this book and found it very engrossing, would be starting 1984 george orwell next, probably, would like to know any other recommendations or suggestions for more books of such kind. And also how did you(anyone who has the book) found it?, if anyone would like to discuss on the same. My current age being 18 if that's to be taken into consideration

If you like Russian Lit I would suggest The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov. In the First Circle by Solzhenitsyn and anything by Nabokov
I honestly think 1984 would be a pretty easy read for you if you were able to get into Dostoy so keep that in mind if you find it boring.
I would also suggest reading Murakami and Sergio De La Pava if you want something more contemporary.
