I’ve always been fascinated by fiction that doesn’t just tell a story but also ends up predicting how the world will look like in future. For instance, in 451 Fahrenheit which deals with censorship, mass media consumption, tiny bee like devices on ear with unlimited music leading to less attention span, not able to have a deep conversation etc. So this leads to my question, what are the “future-predicting” books of today?

Feed by M T Anderson. It feels like the next thing, horrifically. On the bright side, I can’t wait to visit the meat maze!
Prophet Song by Paul Lynch
Should note a lot of these prescient books are exaggerating things about their present, and similar problems continue because human nature doesn’t change fast.
But!
