I'm looking for a book about fame and all the detriments to it. But my issue is that often when I see books about fame, they're more romance-y booktok books, which is fine, just not my vibe. I was hoping to find a book that's a bit more literary and serious. I'm currently reading "Die, My Love" by Ariana Harwicz, if that helps at all.

It’s a sci fi but A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor and its sequel An Absolutely Remarkable Thing are novels where “being internet famous really sucks” is a main theme. It’s by internet famous guy Hank Green.

    2. *Y/N* by Esther Yi is about a woman becoming kind of obsessed with a BTS style group. It’s not a romance though and goes in some unexpected directions.

    3. COLORS INSULTING TO NATURE by Cintra Wilson is a pitch-black comedy about a girl who burns to be famous, and the destruction that brings to herself and those around her. It’s hysterical, and, frankly, overlooked.
