dark academia is my FAVORITE sub-genre in the entire world. if it’s marketed as such, i will probably read it. however, i feel like i’ve read all of the really popular ones, so i’m looking for something lesser-known that you really enjoyed. my favorite books of all time are the goldfinch and if we were villains. i’m not a big fan of fantasy, but i’m okay with it as long as it’s set within the real world (urban fantasy). also, i’m slowly enjoying ya less and less so preferably lit-fic recs if you have them!
for context, i’ve read: the two i previously mentioned, the secret history, babel, picture of dorian gray, these violent delights (both of them), a lesson in vengeance, ace of spades, truly devious, the raven boys, addie larue, legendborn, wilder girls, jane eyre, wuthering heights, and currently reading sirens and muses.
