I don’t know which group of powerful elites you mean. Since you made it into my algorithm, I’m going to assume you’re in the US.
I highly recommend “Jesus and John Wayne.” It’s the story of why the evangelical church backs Trump. Even if you’re not a Christian, I think it will help explain a lot of this craziness.
