I’m currently reading If not, Winter by Anne Carson and fell in love with the poetry of Sappho. I am quite curious how other translators fill in the blanks Anne Carson purposefully leaves blank. What other translations could I pick up?
Also, If anyone has recommendations of what more I could read I welcome that too; be it poetry or books from/of Ancient Greece. Fiction please.
