so i literally just gave bookai a spin… and man. after seeing that reuters piece about openai losing their bid to dismiss that copyright lawsuit,, i’m even more convinced this company is just begging to be sued.
… honestly,, how is this even a business model?? in this legal climate,, it’s basically just an invitation-to-be-sued-ish vibe.
like c'mon… the line between "citing" and "infringing" is already paper-thin. it feels less like a research tool and more like a subpoena speedrun. has anyone else actually messed with this thing or am i the only one waiting for the legal hammers to drop????????
