I’ve been into writing the past 2 years, and because I prefer writing in english but don’t have the best word choice or way with putting feelings into words I’d use AI as a comparison to see what words it would switch out, shifts in description and so on but after awhile I notice these lifeless patterns, been VERY easy to tell if someone uses chatgpt even if its only on one singular part of a text and it irks me because it lacks depth, its repetitive and has this annoying overuse of adjectives, which used to be great for me to learn but now its just too much and I hate how similar my story writing style has changed to sounding so AI.
I wanted to know if anyone could recommend books, novels, light novels….honestly I’d read anything, I just want the writing to stand out heavily, a book that’s made you gasp because of how the words weave into each other or capture feelings and embody emotions so well. Most of all something that feels poetic or impactful overall. Genre doesn’t matter either, it’s more so for learning and the story is a bonus.

Just go to the library and read books. You’re overcomplicating it.
Crack books open, see if you’re intrigued, and read the ones that called you. You’re going to read thousands of books, it doesn’t matter which ones you read first.
