I recently discovered Kristin Hannah’s books. Read: The Women, The Great Alone, The Four Winds, and my favorite, The Nightingale.
T. Greenwood is also great. I read Keeping Lucy. Also Rust & Stardust was hard to read and heartbreaking.
Take a look at Lisa See. I absolutely loved Lady Tan’s Circle of Women.
