I just finished a long bout of reading non-fiction (biographies, political history) and want to jump back in to fiction. I love the classics but am looking for something written in the past decade or so. FWIW, I am not a fan of science fiction or romance/feel good stuff. Other than that, I'd love to hear what you enjoyed recently and might recommend to others as a good read.

I just finished Men in Love by Irvine Welsh, once you get your head around the Scottish accent the pages fly by, plus it doesn’t give too much away so you can always go back and read Trainspotting and the rest of the series after if you haven’t already.

    2. Just finished Genius Fool by Inna Kamikadz. After all the non-fiction it was exactly what I needed. Raw story about friendship, tough choices and life falling apart. No romance or feel-good stuff, just real and intense. Stuck with me. Might be what youre looking for.
