Book with a protagonist very similar to George Lass (Dead Like Me)

Hi, I’m looking for a fiction book with a main character very similar to Georgia “George” Lass from Dead Like Me, specifically her pilot-episode version.

What I care about most is the inner voice / narration. I’m looking for a protagonist who’s lost in life, dropped out of college, stuck in a dead-end job, emotionally flat, apathetic, and pretty detached from everything. She avoids expectations to avoid disappointment, is intelligent but socially disconnected, and generally bored, directionless, and passive. A cynical or mildly sarcastic tone would be ideal, but not quirky or charming.
A strong first-person narration or constant inner monologue is essential (at least for a while). I’m not looking for heavy philosophy, just a grounded, deadpan inner voice.
