Hi everyone.
I never thought I would enjoy science fiction novels, but here I am. I absolutely loved the themes in Dark Matter and The Midnight Library, especially time travel and alternate realities or quantum loops.
I am looking for books with similar concepts. I would prefer ones that do not focus heavily on a romantic subplot. If there is romance, I would rather it not take over most of the story.
Can anyone recommend novels like this?

I loved Dark Matter too! Midnight Library was a bit of a letdown personally.
If you’re open to reading a book marketed to children, I highly recommend reading A Wrinkle In Time. No romance and no alternate reality aspect but great sci-fi.
