Hi everyone, I’m building my reading list for 2026 and would love some advice.

So far this year I have read:

    1. The Psychology of Money

    2. Sapiens

    3. As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow

    4. The Housemaid

    5. Days at the Morisaki Bookshop

I’m open to both fiction and non-fiction. I enjoy books that are thought-provoking, immersive, or emotionally impactful.

    1. If you want thought provoking and immersive, The Overstory is worth a look. Big ideas but still very human.

For nonfiction, maybe Thinking, Fast and Slow. It pairs well with The Psychology of Money and kind of messes with how you see your own decisions.

    2. For me, I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman provoked a lot of deep thoughts regarding what it means to be human and free.
