Hi all!
When my daughter was in kindergarten, she loved Princess in Black as a series she could read by herself at an appropriate reading level. My son is now at that level, but unfortunately does not have the same interest in Princess in Black.
Do you know of other books (doesn’t have to be a series) with a similar reading level (few sentences per page, but still technically a chapter book) that might be more boy geared? It does not need to be superhero themed. We are really looking for reading level here, rather than content.
Just a quick note that he has liked the I Can Read Level 2 books (especially the Wild Kratts ones), but unfortunately a lot of them are pretty “girly” or retellings of Disney movies, and he is just not interested in anything that would be considered “for babies.” He just wants to be a big kid like his sister.
