Looking for books for my 6th grader to help him learn about the world, different cultures, factual US and world history, political memoirs etc. Age appropriate recs (he’s only 11). He’s always very interested in mine and my husband’s conversations about current politics, socialism, struggles for freedom and equality, religion, etc. He’s currently reading The Autobiography of Malcolm X and seems into it.
Any and all recommendations will be helpful. I’ll make a list and see what we can read for the coming years.
