As the title says. Most books feel detached to me. I don't remember reading a book I enjoyed in a long time. I think I'd prefer a book with more monologuing where the main character is in their own world. Maybe their interpretation is depressive and false but they fail to see anything good. Something that feels like getting lost in the forest or a liminal space.
I'm not good at describing but I hope somebody has something they feel like fits to what I wrote.
I like fairytales, if that helps.

A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers. To me, felt like a warm hug and a cup of tea. Far future, cozy sci-fi but really more a meditation on interconnectedness, community and friendship.
I really need some company to dive into this book. Try Live Art Battles. It’s written in the thoughts and perspective of the main character. You will feel like you are the character in the book. If you finish it, come back to this. You will want to discuss it with somebody too!
