Hey all! I’ve been wanting to get into books that help sharpen strategic thinking, open up more intellectual perspective, and give practical insights on how to prosper in both business and life. I’m talking about books that go beyond surface-level self-help and actually challenge the way you think about decisions, competition, habits, and long-term growth.
A few books I already have in mind that feel like they fit this vibe are:
• Stillness & Strategy: The Indian Thinking Playbook by Karnivesh, a great blend of strategic mindset and cultural perspective
• The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People classic framework for productivity and personal vision
• Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, deep dive into how we think and make decisions
If you’ve read anything in this space that shifted your perspective or helped you think smarter, not just harder, I’d love to hear your suggestions. Open to business strategy, psychology, philosophy-meets-practical, or anything that pushes your thinking forward.

Dude you’re already on a solid track with those picks, especially Kahneman – that book literally rewired how I approach decision making at work. If you want something that’ll mess with your head in the best way, check out “Antifragile” by Nassim Taleb. It’s all about how to not just survive chaos but actually get stronger from it, which is huge for both business and life strategy
Another one that hit different for me was “Principles” by Ray Dalio – the guy basically breaks down his entire decision-making framework from running one of the world’s biggest hedge funds. It’s dense but the mental models he shares are insane for thinking through complex problems. Also throw “The Obstacle Is the Way” by Ryan Holiday on your list if you haven’t already – it’s stoic philosophy but applied to modern strategy and it’ll change how you see setbacks completely
