I love love love reading and im into criminal injustice and all medical things. I want to start reading again, to build my vocabulary and learn new things about the topics I love. any ideas?
Wholeheartedly recommend Lindsey Fitzharris’ work. “The Butchering Art” is about the history of surgery and development of antiseptics, and “The Facemaker” is about the facial reconstructive surgery techniques developed during WW1. Both are very readable medical history books.

You need “The Alienist” By Caleb Carr, and “The Way of All Flesh” by Ambrose Parry
This is a very fun book on the history of forensic medicine.
