ok so I went to the store yesterday because I decided that I want to get into romance books. I love them btw. I’m reading gloves off by stephanie archer right now, but there’s spicy stuff in it. I don’t mind it and I think I’m mature enough to read it (almost 17f). so the reason I’m scared is because I also bought a mystery book bundle yesterday and my mom took it and started looking through all the books. “I don’t want our daughter reading smut” she told my dad. luckily she didn’t find gloves off but I’m terrified she’ll see me reading it and take it away.
now for the main part: I need books that won’t get me in trouble with my mom. I like gloves off, an enemies to lovers book with a lot of yearning in the middle, but it’s absolutely inappropriate for her. also think I would like a friends to lovers “blurred lines” kinda vibe where they’re already really close just without the label almost. But yeah, I really like enemies to lovers but I can’t have any books with intense sex scenes in them. please reccomend some🙏🙏
