So do you want actual obscure picks because below all the books you mention are like the most mainstream picks. Or would you rather more like those?

What are some books you like within those genres? Or themes you like?

Coffin Moon and The Fisherman are my favorite horror books. Blake Crouch Wayward Pines checks off a lot on your list and its not as recommended as say Dark Matter. The Gone World by Sweterlitsch is all those genres in one and a banging book. For pure sci fi, I would check out Alastair Reynolds.

The dungeon crawler Carl series is pretty good

It would probably be easier to just look for authors, maybe some of the prolific and ‘classic’ authors in those genres. You might have some decent luck finding some of their more widely published or obscure works.
I don’t read a lot of thriller or horror, but here’s a few fantasy and sci-fi authors-
Ursula le Guin , Isaac Asimov, Robert heinlein, Arthur C. Clark, Mercedes lackey, Terry Pratchet, Ann mcCaffrey, c. S. Lewis to name a few.

The Deep Sky by Yume Kitasei, sci-fi thriller with a good amount of horror built in. An all AFAB mission to colonize a new world is plunged into chaos after an explosion kills members of the crew, the lead as an alternate crew member(no specific job) is assigned to investigate the cause of the explosion, and possibly the perpetrator, amongst the international crew. Made much more complicated by the fact they’ve all been in the same space program since they were preteens and relationships, politics, and secrets lie buried on the home planet that they’ll never see again.
Also Wool by Hugh Howey if no one has mentioned that yet

Moon called by Patricia Briggs. Good stuff, my favorite read of 2025.
