I love dark romance but I hate when the love interest of the MC starts to abuse or rape them, it really turns me off from the book and makes me never want to read it again. And so many of them seem to have this in the books (like why? đ). I like fantasy specifically werewolves and vampires, I'm ok with mafia, And I'm iffy with yanderes; I would prefer if it had smut in it, but I don't mind if it doesn't

All three of these suggestions are the first in series, the first two the sequels follow other couples connected to the first, the last is a why choose following the same set of characters. Depending on the book there are definitely mentions of abuse or rape, sometimes to the main, sometimes to side characters. But never with the MC and the love interests. I highly recommend starting with âLights Outâ. Iâve read it 3 times in the last 3 months, because the characters are adorable. Also I highly recommend the audiobooks for all of these if you are into those – the narrators are amazing.
