Hello! As the post title said, I’m 15, and am a huge, huge, HUGE fan of Film. I watch movies all the time, but I really want to get into reading. I’ve been trying to get into reading, I started about as bad as I could with Blood Meridian, where I couldn’t understand most of it… I’ve tried a few other books (Sometimes based on movies I like) like American Psycho and just couldn’t get into it.
There was only ever one book I understood every word and loved it, Animal Farm by George Orwell. I fucking love that book, the style of writing, the story, the satire, so good.
Are there any easy to understand novellas like Animal Farm? (Mind you, I don’t want kids books. I hate feeling like a kid, I’m sorry but it’s just my 15 year old nature). I’ve heard from a lot of people (including my English Teacher), to read Slaughterhouse-Five.
