I just finished this book tonight and generally enjoyed it for the most part but I could not stand the main character/narrator.
She came across as very self absorbed and self righteous a lot of the time, like she was superior to everyone else. It also seemed to me that she liked to make out that she was the only family member that was negatively affected by “The Golden Bones”. Which was not true at all.
Anyone read it and feel the same way? Maybe someone else can explain it better than I just did.
