I don’t know if it is depression, but i feel uncomfortable and embarrassed all days with difficulties on life, even if it is or not, i am looking for good books and stories that could serve as a therapy, most specifically fantasy books who could be a relaxing book

House by the cerulean sea by TJ Klune! I also read under the whispering door by him and I was laughing out loud but at the end I was also crying not bc it was uncomfortable but like emotional?
read Archer’s voice by Mia Sheridian…its a great emotional romance book

Look into the Cozy Mystery genre. They are my go-to when I want to chill
I would highly recommend the famished road by Ben okri.
It is not fantasy but more magical realism/fantastical realism. It is about a boy who brakes his promise he made to his friends in the spirit realm to kill himself soon after he was born so he could get back to the spirit realm and them. He decides to stay with his parents who are living in a poor African country just after independence.
The premis may seem depressing but it is a completely surreal experience to read, because of the magical/mythological creatures and elements in the world. I first read it during a depression and it made me appreciate the complexity of nature and the harsh but also beautiful chaos that is human society
