Recently, I have been really interested in learning more about why we are attracted to certain types of people, and I would like to find good non-fiction books that study the people who have the (vital ?) necessity to find motherly or fatherly figures, or mentor figures (like teachers, managers…).
Some related topics would be attachment styles, inner child wounds etc. (I guess), but I am really open to anything, from spiritual to scientific, as long as it does dive into the mechanism of it in some way. A special focus on mentor figure (rather than motherly/fatherly figure) would be amazing, but I'll take anything.
