I've been trying to find a book with animal-human hybrids in a contemporary setting, but I mostly keep coming up with werewolf smut type books (no judgment, just not what I'm looking for). I would like to read something where a supernatural being of some sort is navigating the contemporary human world, presumably keeping their true nature a secret. Bonus points if the book has a sense of humor. Romance would be fine as long as that's not the only point, and I don't mind if it's YA/NA/Adult. Has anyone run across a book like that from the last few years?
