Books that portray positive adult female friendships?

I am in my 30s and ready to accept/confront my struggles maintaining friendships. It’s something i’ve struggled with my entire life and the older I get the sadder it makes me.

As far as genres, I would prefer a contemporary literary fiction recommendation if possible.

I do not enjoy historical fiction and don’t have the mental energy to tackle a classic right now lol.
