I've been seeing a lot of books where a fantasy hero saves a bunch of monsters and I guess forms a harem, but this feels like the helping isn't the priority here. Is there a book where a human is like "I need to help the monster/beast people because I care" and they just do it. The main character can be male or female, though I am curious about genuinely selfless male characters. The main character can romance and or end up in a relationship with a monster person, but it must not detract from the fact that they legitimately care and want to help everybody.
