Really struggling to decide what to read next. For context, I love books that have rich world building and admittedly I am a sucker for a “chosen one” type story.

Weird caveats about me: I don’t love when there’s too many “creatures”. For whatever reason if I read to a sentence like “then I saw a giant troll over there” it completely takes me out of the story. Can’t really explain why but I guess I like stories where part of it is based on an earth type world with some hidden magic.
Any and all suggestions are welcome. Even outside of the fantasy/sci fi genre I am open to.
