I loved reading about book clubs and dreamed about joining one someday.
A few years ago, when I moved to the UAE, I got to know about many book clubs around. I was eager to join one.
What I don't understand is,
Why do we all have to read one suggested book and finish it on time to come back and talk about it 🙁
Or you have to buy the organizer's book to be a part of it.
I get it, we all need a common thing to talk about, but what if I don't like that book?
I don't read books when a deadline is hanging over, but I enjoy reading books, infact many books at the same time.
Is my exposure not right? I have not been able to join such book clubs; are things different?
I am sure many of us can relate, when we meet someone who loves the same book as we do, how happy we are. We love to discuss characters, scenes, and dialogues.
If you are part of any fun book club that does not feel like a burden to be a part of, invite me in, help your girl.
Please suggest good reads like Outlander's historical fiction, and easy reads
