I’m looking for a book that depicts the end of days. Something that’ll scare and disturb me and leave me thinking WTF did I just read?! If I’m being more specific, I want a book that is happening as civilisation is collapsing as opposed to it being years after the apocalypse. Thank you!
PS. I’ve already read The Stand, Between Two Fires, The Road and Station 11 so anything remotely like these would be great.

If you have a Goodreads account, you can enter a book name in the search window and I believe in the information of said book, it may have things similar to it. I have not used it for this feature but I believe it does something like that
