I've noticed that I'm in love with the drama genre itself and feel admiration when I watch how the suspense and tension grow throughout the story. Also, I'm reading books to improve my English, and it would be great if you could recommend some books in that genre that were written in the 21st century.
I write about it because it's quite hard to read Jack London's "Martin Eden," which I have been reading for the last two months, due to unusual sentence structures and old-fashioned vocabulary. It requires much more mental effort to understand what the author tried to say to readers who are not fluent in English.
So I hope that the book that will be next will be both interesting and a little less hard to read. Thanks to everyone who will answer that post.
