In a unique situation where I took over a local queer group that was kind of dying. It’s a bit of a support group that’s evolving away from the sit in a circle and talk format.
I’m trying to breathe life back in but realizing I don’t have all the tools to keep things engaging long term. There’s also a few personality clashes and as the new top banana I want to know how to resolve stuff when people inevitably come to me because they don’t like someone.
I know there’s books like The Art of Gathering but that feels more like friendship focused and not necessarily a community of people you don’t really get to choose. Thank you in advance.
