Please let me know what book series I should read first. I’m new to reading let alone fantasy so im at a loss.

I’ve narrowed it down to about 5 different book series please lmk which I should read first. here’s my top 5.

    Percy Jackson.

    Mistborn

    The hobbit

    Six of crows

    Rangers apprentice

    1. If you’re trying to sort of break into more adult reading I’d say Mistborn is a good bridge between YA and more mature fantasy. In my opinion the first Mistborn trilogy borders on Young Adult.

The Hobbit is many people’s starting point for fantasy.

yo idk if this counts but dungeon crawler carl is actually top tier I got recommended for it on reddit cause everyone was glazing it – im on book 4 now this shit is GASSSSSSS like 10/10 I put everyone on it now like IMO those other recs pale in comparison I have never spent so much willingly on a book SERIES. Like every book is a 5 stars like 10/10 writing no book even compares my con is that the books are like 30 bucks and i die a little but 110% WORTH IT

but for starters i’d go with percy jackson, then mistborn, and lastly the hobbit.

I personally did now fw six of crows and i have no opinion of rangers apprentice so mb

Not to recommend a different book series, but if you are just struggling to get going the cradle series by Will Wight is incredibly addictive.

    4. The Belgariad Series by David Eddings.
      Raymond E Feist Magician Apprentice
      Among my favorite series.
