I’m driving a 8 hour road trip with my MIL and SIL Friday and I need an audiobook to keep me entertained for the drive, but also safe enough to listen to in-front of my very religious in-laws. My MIL in particular is sensitive to violence and graphic romance, and is very sensitive to conversations about age and death.
I like romance, contemporary fiction, the occasional mystery, and memoirs.
Books I feel would be fitting, but I’m not in the mood to relisten to are
- Circe
- Atmosphere
- The invisible life of Addie la rue
- Lessons in Chemistry
Sweet books line Remarkably Bright Creatures and a Man Called Ove are off limits bc of the themes around aging.
