Hey! Due to neurological stuff, I haven't been able to read as much as I've liked to recently. I'm looking for a new book, and I like things set in a pre-industrial setting (think lotr, wheel of time. etc) and ideally don't have cishet romances – I've had way too much of that in the last few I've read, and it kinda sucks when there's no good representation for stuff. Questions: Do you like (non-cishet) romance as a genre, or are you looking for fantasy or historical novels with minimal or background romances?
What level of complexity in terms of plot and writing style do you like? Are you looking for something as dense as the examples you gave?
