Is there any stories with a male protag that isn't an overpowered. I have found weaker female who gets adopter and starts living a better life. I can't find any with a male in the position of having a sad backstory then being adopted into a better life or being rescued by others. Or where the male isn't over powered but has strong allies (that isn't a harem) I can only find over powered males and females and sweet non strong females. Any suggestions? (in a more medieval time)
