I'm in desperate need of good book suggestions for my granny {86}. Granddad is in his final days and my granny loves to read. I want to get her a couple of paperback novels {fiction} for the weeks and months to come.
If possible, no death or illness. No sex scenes {my granny told me that Me After You by Jojo Moyes kept her awake at night}. I gave her The Wish by Nicholas Sparks to read last year and she loved it!
I kept my Jane Austin collection aside specifically for when the time came and she might need the distraction for a couple of hours a day or week {depending on how she feels}.
I don't know where to start, since most of my books are romance, dark romance & deeply disturbing thrillers.
Many thanks in advance! 🌸

James Herriot books
Agatha Christie’s Poirot or Mrs. Marple if she loves cozy mysteries.
Jane Austen is a great idea.
