I have gained a sudden interest in actively deconstructing the lenses through which I view the world as a result of the socialisation I experienced growing up. As such, I would appreciate some recommendations on some books that will better inform me on how I can best break down how I see the world so that I can rebuild my already quite strong opinions on a more solid and informed foundation not so strongly tainted by the environment I was raised in and the parts of myself that I identify with.
Books on topics like white supremacy/colonialism, queerness, classism, the patriarchy, capitalism, religion and possibly human psychology !!! I am hoping to enter the big ol world being well-read with a more effective way to think about society. it is ok if it is an uncomfortable and confronting book to read, that is probably for the best.
!!!! thank you
