Hmm. It’s a bit brutal but I loved Animal by Lisa Taddeo. It’s not a feel good heartwarmer or anything. But I loved it, and I loved the protagonist despite her flaws and crazy decision making.
I tend to read all genres with a special interest in fantasy. As of late I have been craving something a little more intimate. I would really like a story that centers around an adult dealing with abusive parents or the aftermath of this, and how they move through life. The request is vague and I am not looking for something hyper specific that appeals to my specific circumstances. If I wanted to self-insert I’d read something hot and sexy instead. Thank you.
