Hello! I’m a Protestant Christian and I’m aware how Protestantism originated from Martin Luther due to the corruption of the Catholic Church at the time. However, I would love for any books on the church history of Catholicism and Orthodoxy. I’ve heard Catholicism was the church started by Paul and Orthodoxy by the Lord Himself.
With all the news about sleeper cells, Iran, the Epstein Files, I want to delve deeper into my relationship with God. I wanted to see if there were any books that explain the respective church histories.
I go to a nondenominational church and I have felt like I’m outgrowing it. If anyone has any recommendations, let me know. 🙂
