After reading Northanger Abbey I’ve found myself wishing to explore more gothic novels from that era. I mean I know Northanger Abbey is a slight mockery of the gothic style but it seemed quite interesting, atleast the themes. As aforementioned, does anyone have their ‘best picks’ for this genre?
