Judy Blume was one of the first authors who treated kids like they were actually capable of thinking about complicated feelings. A lot of us grew up feeling seen because of her books. I can understand why she’d want parts of her life to stay private though.

I an looking forward to reading this book! I recently read The Genius of Judy by Rachelle Bergstein which also covers Judy’s life and career and was an excellent read.
