Literary thrillers

Hi! I'm looking for something that feels like a literary thriller.

Examples of what I mean would be: Daphne du Maurier, American Psycho, A Certain Hunger, The Collector and I have some questions for you.

Books that have something to say and are more focused on being well written than solely to entertain but that still have a dark, thriller-y vibe to it.
