I’m looking for a book where the protagonist doesn’t have children and doesn’t discuss wanting/not wanting children. Basically, where not having children isn’t a storyline or plot point in the book.
Kind of like Phyllis Vance in The Office (outside of the very short storyline of having a baby she gave up for adoption, but even then she was very matter-of-fact about it).
Open to any genre, but preferably historical or contemporary fiction.
