Hi,
As stated in my question, I am going through a rather difficult period in my life right now. I've been reading mostly highly technical books for a while now and I feel that, because of that I've somehow neglected the more philosophical part of my nature. With all that being said I really need something inspirational to lift my spirits right now— something in the vein of The Count of Monte Cristo, or works of Dostoyevsky.
I’m looking for a tale full of despair, but also hope ultimately trampling over all the difficulties and obstacles, written in a beautiful and ultimately uplifting way, yet not naively optimistic (no Camus as well please).
Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
