My partner and I recently went long distance. During this time, they recorded themselves reading a short story to me which I absolutely loved! I recorded myself reading some romantic Shakespeare for them which they loved too. I wanna do more of that for them but I don’t tend to read short stories, so I don’t really have any ideas of what to record other than Shakespeare.
Does anyone have any recommendations? They’re a folklorist so anything from any culture will work. If they’re weird and dark that’s fine too! I just want them to have something to listen to when they’re missing me. It doesn’t have to be folklore or anything particularly romantic, although I’d love some queer recommendations
