I never got a world religions course in school, and as I've been picking up bits and pieces here and there now, I'm feeling like I missed out. Looking for recommendations for a nice comprehensive book for beginners – not something small that can be sped through, but something that really covers even less common religions like Taoism, and covers things like traditional offerings given to the gods or traditional foods eaten during holidays in that culture, etc. Something easy to understand but detailed!
