I know there are a million books about WW2. I’m curious about an interesting read about life after the war. How did jewish people integrate back into society that had shunned them or possibly go back to a house they lived in where their neighbor may have turned them in? obviously there was a lot of destruction from bombing etc but i’m very curious about life socially immediately following the war if any book exists? and not a boring one you would study in a class room.
