Hi! I’m trying to get back into reading and would love some suggestions.
I used to read so much but gave it up and want to get back into it.
Right now I’m reading "Normal People" and really enjoying it. I like the simple, modern writing style and relationship-focused story. I also recently read "Heated Rivalry" and flew through it in a day, but I’d prefer romance that’s way less.. smutty.
I’ve tried some classics like Pride and Prejudice and The Picture of Dorian Gray, but the language sometimes slows me down and makes reading feel like work, though I can appreciate them.
Looking for:
- very readable / modern prose
- relationship-driven stories or romance
- not very explicit
- books that are hard to put down
